Printmaking & Book Binding @ 36 Lime Street 7th July

Saturdays  print & bookbinding workshop at Theresa Easton’s new space on Level 2 @ 36 Lime Street started in a warm summery studio with a group of eager participants travelling from as far afield as Bury in Lancashire!

The morning was spent experimenting with printing techniques using a well seasoned etching press from Intaglio Printmaker, the drying rack was soon stuffed with prints waiting to dry, ready for the afternoons session of glueing, stitching and folding.

The afternoon kicked off with a welcome donation of chocolates provided by Lorraine & Chris.  Participants made a series of books including two different types of folded books, two pamphlet stitch books and a Japanese stab bound book.

There are still a couple of places on the next print & book workshop, 18th August 10-4pm.  For further information, download Booking Form Summer 2012 print&Bookforweb  Summer Print & Book2012
