New Easter Printmaking Workshops at 36 Lime St

The next series of workshops in Hand Made Printed Books and Silk Screen Printing onto Glass lead by Theresa Easton at 36 Lime Street are coming up soon!

The Lit & Phil chap book

Theresa Easton has recently had book work acquired by the Tate Library, London, to form part of their ‘artists book’ collection.  The Lit and Phil Chap book now forms part of the Five and a half thousand books currently in the Tate Library’s collection, along with another of Theresa Easton’s Chap Book The Sunderland book, The Comet and Planting Can Foster a Sense of belonging.  For more information on Easton’s  artist’s book practice and print related work go to Axis.

Hand made printed book workshop 14th April 10-5pm £55 takes place on Level 1 at 36 Lime St.

The workshop is an ideal introduction to book binding techniques and simple printmaking processes.

Transfer printing onto found objects

Silk Screen printing onto glass 21st & 22nd April 11-5pm £140 also takes place on Level 1 at 36 Lime St.

Theresa Easton caters for all abilities in this two-day workshop; those with some experience of printmaking are able to extend their skills and knowledge in silk screen printing and participants with a background in glass are able to develop a new area of expertise.  Complete beginners can enjoy the two days and produce a colourful printed piece of glass work at the end.
