This exhibition is to celebrate the Chinese New Year 2012 “Year of Dragon”. Most of the paintings shown in this exhibition relate to traditional Chinese painting themes. It includes flowers, fish, and seasonal landscape.
I have been teaching Chinese Painting (landscape and flower) in the North East region for many years. I am currently a Chinese Painting tutor at North East Centre for Lifelong Learning, Sunderland University.
I am planning to hold Chinese painting class in Newcastle in the coming month. If you are interested in join the course, please do contact me. The course is designed for anyone, beginner or who had some experience who would like to learn the fundamentals of Chinese Landscape and flower and bird painting. Practical studies include using the Chinese brush to paint a landscapes, seasonal flowers, insect and birds, leading to an understanding of basics and providing a rounded and individual study. It will be a great opportunity for you to experience the beauty of Chinese painting.
